What better way to get to know one another than to hop in a car and go tromping around in another country for a couple of hours? That's what I did with Ian & Kate. They love Detroit and wanted some urban photos so even though the weather looked like I may not cooperate, we headed over the border anyways. It drizzled so we took the opportunity to stop into Detroit City Distillery for a drink. Which by the way is a great way to take the edge off before diving into a photo session. We sat, got to know one another over a drink and by the time we walked outside, the rain had stopped and they were already having fun.
We explored the Eastern Market with all of it's urban deliciousness. If you love colour, you need to scroll through their engagement photos below. It was a lot of fun. We even caught a skateboarder's ollie over a railing which turned out to be their favourite photo from the night.
I'll be blogging their romantic Sprucewood Shores Wedding in the near future so stay tuned for some juxtaposition.
