Every wedding over 6 hours includes a second shooter. You might be wondering, why?
If you're in the middle of planning your wedding you've probably realized that planning a wedding is no small feat. This is why having the extra support is so valuable. My second shooter's to-do lists are endless:
- They are capturing the parts of the day that I can't, whether that's at a separate getting ready location or just behind my back during portraits.
- They are a second set of eyes on key moments like your first kiss. This ensures there's always a backup if something goes wrong.
- They are making sure we are in two places at once... sneaking into decorated rooms before me if I'm still finishing up portraits, etc.
- They are capturing different candids than me during cocktails.
- They are also an extremely valuable support for me as the lead photographer. They are a backup if I slip out to use the washroom, they help me carry heavy gear, run to get my water when I'm parched but refuse to miss any of your special moments.
